so i hear, you dont have to insure a bike that was purchased for under $10,000.

your gonna die or your bike is if you get in a wreck with a bike so y would you want to insure it?

It differs from state to state, you are not required in washington to insure a motorcycle at all. If you take out a loan, the company that gives you loan will make you insure it.

yeh in florida you dont need motorcycle insurance, unless you take out a loan like phins said.

i dont believe their is a purchase price limit on this either. my father has a harley that cost alot more than 10 grand ad he doesnt have insurance on it.

I thought you had to have proof of personal medical coverage if you decide not to wear a helmet in Florida. So you dont drain all the taxpayers with your stupidity.

yes IF you do not want to wear a helmet, you need personal injury insurance. but this doesnt apply to the original question.

the way it goes, you don't need insurance to get your tag and stuff here in florida, but, you get in a wreck, and j00 are fuxed, as in, any thing you pay for, comes out of pocket, there is a reason you get insurance other than "cause its illegal to drive without it"
