Well come to find out the apex seals are shot!--I guess thats what happens when you throw a bottle of uncontrolled nos in the intake.--Shutup!--I believe i am going after the port and polished motor from atkins.You Guys had and good or bad luck with there motors.I talked to jason seemed like a really good guy.

 

I would seriously look at a Pineapple, A reman ( with a Judge ITO Port job) or Have Judge ITo build it for you. Talk to Malloy mazda in VA abot a reman

 

I like atkins, I sell there stuff, they communicate well and the do a good job. Pineapple rocks too, either way you can't go wrong.

I would have a chat with ito on the phone. I dynoed my "ito race port" motor with only 250 miles of break-in. Did about 10 hard pulls, no problems at all. made about 360@ 10psi, wanted more, boost controller crapped out.

Anyway, car runs perfect, smooth, and makes crazy power.

I got a bad vibe when I talked to Atkins about a Streetported engine. They told me they would pull one off the shelf, break it down and port it for an extra 300. HMMMMM.... were they going to eat the cost of new coolant seals???? Just didn't set well in my mind.
