Okay, funny story for all of you.

When I get home I check the weather forecast to see if it's safe to wash my car. It's been raining here on and off lately and I was waiting for a break because it's pretty dirty. The forecast says 10% chance for the next 4 days. I figure, sure, I should be alright, since the previous week had been like 40-60%.

So I meticulously wash my car, as I'm sure all of you do, because my car is an extension of myself, and I want it to look good. I have to do a networking job for a client so after washing my car I drive to Best Buy to pick up some equipment.

On the way home, a few drops hit my windshield. I figure, that ain't no thang. Well sure enough a few more. You know, just enough so that you could see spots on your car if you didn't wipe the drops off. Well about 5 mins later it starts raining like hell! **********er! Is this some kinda sick joke?

The storm ******* follows me home, I SWEAR. The roads were dry ahead of me, yet it was still raining on me. I tried to outrun it, but clouds move pretty fast. Okay I opened myself up to a slow car joke, oh well. Well just before I get to my neighborhood it stops and the straightaway ahead of me is dry. I floor it in a desperate attempt to rid my car of the drops which strive to ruin its precious cleanliness. I then proceed to dry my car ONCE AGAIN.

Mother nature.

Any droughts I can clear up somewhere?

A couple summers ago I went a perfect 5 for 5 with the Camaro. 5 washes, 5 rains within 24 hours. Every day was 28 - 35 C except the day after I washed the car.

Last year the Prairies up here went 6 weeks without rain until I visited home. 2 inches of rain in 2 weeks while I was there. Too late to save the crops though.

Yeah and I just realized the people I'm doing the networking for have a dirt road for a driveway...so I guess I'll probably be washing my car again anyway.
