If I were you I would sit on the insurance money for a while. It can't hurt you by having it in the bank. You don't really seem like the type who enjoys the work to make the car fast, but the results. You'll probably come across a nice single turbo FD at a nice price if you don't rush. Then you'll be ready to go in an instant.
