the thing is cheap, and its kinda cool, comes with a nice warranty

as well.

some people need a car for work/school and want the

piece of mind of a new car. I think its cool for less then $15,000

all the options are part of the Scion expierence, Toyota dealers

have a whole sepearate section just for scions, its meant to attract

younger drivers to Toyota.

supposedly the car did really well in california, with toyota selling twice as much as expected. the scion label came about because toyota wants to lower it's average buyer age, however lots of middle aged people are buying this car because they like it.

from reviews i've read, it handles better than the element, has more interior room, gets better gas milage, etc.

personally, if i saw it in person, i would give it a double take and smile. it's an interesting car, might be cool to have. i would never buy one, i'd want more power and better looks. but still, kind of neat, cheap vehicle that you can carry your friends around in and still personalize with toyota-supported mods.

yea you are right for the most part, but my only point is that it's a intake, exhuast, and suspension on a caravan, not a miata which is already labeled a sports car...
THIS IS NOT A CARAVAN.

caravan = crappy soccer mom's vehicle

xB = sweet teenager / college kid's ride

soccer mom's dont waste money on mods, the spend it on dipers, soccer *****, and schin guards.

teenagers waste money on mods, because it's something to talk about / look cool / waste money on.

as a result, toyota is smart for having these kind of options, and i wish other car companies would do the same.

with most cars, the only options you get are floor mats, mud flaps, bug deflectors, cargo nets, etc. at least with this car you something cooler, younger, and more worth spending money on.
