I meant to post this a few weeks ago and it probably would have been more relevant then, but Monster Garage is getting out of hand.

I am specifically referring to the Rock Crawler episode with the old Bronco.

The premise of the show is to build the machines with only $3000.00. The problem is that the show is getting multiple thousands of dollars in freebies which sort ruins the whole concept of being creative and talented enough to do it with only $3000.

The Rock Crawler episode for instance got more than $29,000.00 in Freebies. Hell, anyone on this forum could probably have done it with that much given to them. I don't think it could have been done without the freebies but that is the whole point. I think they need to rethink the premise of the show and start over.

When they first started it was cool to see them have to manufacture a lot of the parts themselves because they were not given to them. Now, they just get freebies.

I just am venting this to this forum because I know how many Jesse James fans there are on this forum especially after the RX-7 episode.

The show has lost its appeal with the new-found reliance on freebies

the OCC guys that are on american chopper are cool, and their custom fabbed bikes are the shizzle, but they do not hold a candle to the beauty and originality of the jessee james crew. besides, almost everything that is on teh WCC bike comes from thier own shop......OCC have too much **** contracted outside.....

and **** on JJ for making his bikes toooo expensive now......

I do like the fact that Jesse James custom fabs the frame for his bikes where OCC seems to purchase ones already built then modifies them.

Race_87RX7: Monster Garage took an FC and I think it was a vert too, and tried to turn it into a sandrail. Well, when they failed, mostly due to a shitty design concept, Jesse took a 50 cal. machine gun mounted on a truck and blew the living **** out of the FC.
