Mm, 05 Dodge Charger
Yeah yeah, no pistons.. But, anyway.. In these wacky times of domestic companies DRAGGING such great names in the dirt..Dodge might be doing it right. I used to own a 98 Dodge Avenger, and I loved it, other than the wussass V6 and automatic transmission, the car was stellar..All I wanted was a rear end and a big ole mopar block under the hood. Assuming that they use a similar platform to the Avenger/Eclipse (hopefully a refined one) it should be a badass car. They've always needed a medium between their pesudo lux line, and that overpriced Viper..This car might kick some ***..And revive some intrest in the domestic market..Cause GM has pissed me off beyond any possible level. ******' kid carrying GTO, Chevy SS looking like a bland rip off of the RX-8, SSR, a glorified el camino with a weak *** engine, marketed as a "roadster" Then ford with their overpriced GT-40, and rehashed body style Mustang...ugh.
Imports are making a serious stand..But the prices are kicking our asses. 350Z's are expensive, the Z was orignally designed to be a fast, nimble car, most people could afford, now it's a staple between rich snobby kids and middle aged professionals who don't bother taking the engine past 3,000 rpms.

5.7L Hemi V8 350hp torque isnt listed..probably in the 425-470 range. I don't know what kind of cam profile they're going to use..so I dunno.

Mixed feelings on it. It looks huge but at the same time it looks sexy but then I see a Camaroesk front end but love the rear. Then I get to thinking the original Chargers were huge so I would think you would want to go along those lines and not make a small example of it.
The back end and side view are awsome I am not thrilled with the front view. The powerplant is pretty cool too although it would be real nice to see them pull the stops and offer a hopped up version with a 5.9 R/T engine.

and no offense but i am not a big fan of the avenger.
sounds like it would be fun though with a big hemi in it.
all they gotta do is make the front end a little less angled and a little more retro.

If you're into sports cars, why would you be into Avengers? I thought it looked cool when I bought it. I didnt really care about how fast it was..A v6 to me was like :O
After I bought it, I started learning more and more about cars.
