Try having a good time without having sex. Seems lame, but that way you'll know if you like her for being her, or if it's just lust. It's tough, but you need to find a way to differentiate love and lust. Once you can do that, you'll stop looking for a good lay, and start looking for a good companion.

I'm talking to this chick right now. She's probably one of the sweetest girls I've ever met. I want to get to know her but it's weird. She gives me a lot of mixed signals. She always "has to go" whenever we talk on the phone and she gets mad if I don't call her.....I think she still likes her ex, too.

sex is all the same: short, momentary pleasure at the expense of extended emotional troubles. it's not worth it.
you want to get to know chicks for who they are. each girl has a different personality, and having sex with them turns them into the same thing, a toy, and ruins the potential to really know them and love them for them, not what they can "put out".
just date this chick, get to know her, have fun without physical pleasure. it works out better.
i've done this for 22 yrs and have no regrets.
