Minitrucks..
#25
My Opinion:
I can't stand it when one of those Ghey *** minis, or for that matter ANY lowered vehicle, comes
into the shop asking for a smog. Those dumb-asses spend all that money modifying their rides,
but hardley put anything into maintenence. They whine about how much the test costs, but
there's $3000 worth of stereo equipment.
Above all else, they very rarely have exhaust pipes that make it out from under the vehicle!
Turn downs in front of the rear axle, ****! How the hell am I going to run a truck on a dynamometer
and still keep the $300 hose (it's made of some kind of special material) from getting chewed up by
the rollers? I stopped careing. Something comes in like that, I tell them to "Put a tailpipe on it, or
take it somewhere else." Oh, one more thing. It may be socially acceptable to have your car 2" off
the ground, but my rollers are 3.5" deep. I've also had to tell a few guys (never girls, always guys)
to raise the car enough to run the test.
Sorry for venting, I'll get off my soapbox now.
