I would have to go with the east being the best drinkers. Not only cause I am from the east coast but I witnessed a couple thousand drunks walking the streets last night in my city alone. St. Patty's Day Parade Day the bigest drinking day of the year, LOL Scranton is full of drunks.

 

i think yonner will win.... they drink beer instead of OJ for breakfast

And Savannah is the 2nd biggest St Pattys day celebration in the country.

 

i was in europe last summer and the amount of alcohol they drink in a normal day is enough. in canada vs usa vs scotland, scotland wins.

 

I'm Irish if that counts for anything - except I don't drink, but I am definitely an exception. Last year in college there were a couple of hardcore alcaholics in my course. The funniest was when we were watching Ireland getting to the 1/4 finals in the World Cup - 1 gigantic 3 litre bottle of cheap cider each half , and that was just warming up for the evening, - one guy in particular went on to drink 16 pints of stout IIRC. They were forcing themselves to get sick just so they could phisically keep on drinking - funny stuff, especially to watch .
