exactly what i was thinking. since it's centered and doesn't take up the whole front area, you should be able to easily fit a bigger one in there without having to cut too much stuff away.



i doesn't say what exhaust is on there (maybe mazdaspeed?). you could throw a racing beat exhaust on, crank up the boost, and get over 200 hp out of it easily.



beat a mustang with a miata. LOL



based on stang.net calculators, you could pull a 14.43 sec 1/4 mile at 94 mph. that's with 15% DT losses, giving you 151 whp and a weight of 2300 lbs. a few mods (more boost, bigger IC) and you should easily get under 14 sec.

 

i like the coupe better. true, it's not convertable, but it looks better. the back kind of looks like an FD.
