i thought it was "Swapping engines is easier than oil changes!"

 

^^rofl thats a good one too last week we had engine day so i like to call it b/c half the shop was doing engine swaps i think there were eight goin on at once lol

 

and .... each car has very own chase team !

 

Mazda must be doing something right, they're selling enough cars to keep the factory doors open.

 

mazdausa loves to do really confusing things.



example 1. the rx8 recall, we check the cat for plugging, and then check the engine for damage, we replaced a lot of cats, but no engines. if the engine compression tested low, they had us change coils. when you plug the cats on a 6, they TELL you to put an engine in it. so to reiterate: rotary with a plugged cat = fine, 6 with plugged cat = the engines damaged.



example 2. the leak detection pump for the mazda 3 suddenly isnt orderable. we stock 1-2 of these, cause we sell em. i call mazda to order more, and ask why we cant order this all of a sudden. they say "because theres a limited supply" i would think they should buy some from japan, but what do i know?



3. they have been out of mazda 3 oil filters for the last 3-4 weeks.



4. they have enough 12a engine rotors to make 65 engines.....



5. mazda wont sell competition parts to a mazda dealership, but they will happily sell to you. selling "non us" parts to dealerships, is bad becuase the car we put it on becomes illegal, but if YOU buy it, its fine.
