Do they close the road for runs, or do people just meet and drive on it as a public road?

Come on guys..

This should be a fun event..

FYI: Last year Z club had 70 cars show up to Deals Gap from all over USA

Mini Coopers had OVER 400 Cars show up from ALL OVER USA... I know Us rotary guys are More Hard core than MINI COOPER guys. Mini's are expecting 600+ cars this year. 600+!!!!

Did I mention FREE!!!

im sure there are plenty of Zs and MINIs with in a 100 mile radius of that place....

is that a "mazda rotary" only trip, or if you have either a mazda or a rotary?

Yeah, in all honesty this place is kinda crazy. You share a public road and depend on the guy coming the opposite way to use his/her brain.

I think I'd enjoy going when there's not a huge meet planned. (not that I could make it to this one anyway)

if i'm still in the country, i'll definately be there.. it's not too far from here. Alot of people will send a "scout" ahead driving civilized and call back on a cell (ie: i'm 5 miles down the road and haven't passed any cars headed back your way) and then a few will go thrash the hell outta the road and repeat this process. MOST of the wrecks here don't involve 2 vehicles...a car and a rock wall seems to be common.

Great!! As of now, about 70 drivers are interested in this event. 25 drivers already committed to come. I think at least 50 will show. Should be fun. Caravans are being planned.
