Just got in from seeing it, WOWI WOW WOW! If you liked the first this is very much better. Just like X-2 it starts right in on the action, there's not even any credits in the beggining. Answers a lot of questions and makes some more for Revolutions in November.
|
did u see the preview for the next one at the end of the credits?
|
no way?!?!?! was there one really
|
yeah thats what they were saying on the radio this morning
|
i couldnt stay through the credits, too much rage against the machine playing
|
i like to call this movie.... matrix out of bullets....for its lack of anything good....
|
I thought it was awesome, and did see the trailer at the end.... trailer didnt show much at all though, you didnt really miss much by leaving.
But if you liked the first one, DEFINITELY go see this one |

The Ducati scene was by far the only good part of the movie. That was bad ass!!! It was kinda like the pod race in the first star wars https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png |
I thought the part where he busted out the pole and proceded do do some serious damage was the most bad ass part. The story line sucks... its all basic philosophy; **** that you'd right about in your journal. But the action was outta control. On a side note, one of the fighting extras (one of the ones who uses the swords later in the movie) was one of my old karate instructors back in the day. That blew my mind when I saw him.
|
I just won 2 tickets to go see the movie. I can't wait! Free stuff rocks!
|
hmm. lotsa bashings and lotsa good reviews. i thought it was pretty decent, and the fact that it was unrealistic... makes it all the more "matrix." i'd go watch it again. in fact, i have to. girlfriends...
|
Well I watched it.. and I liked it, it did kinda look 99% computer done and the story really sucked. Also the beginning was BORING AS HELL, except for that one part in the very beginning (you know). Yes I would definetly go see it again though. But once it get's into the action....the action stays. And there's some bad mofokin fight scenes... I really want to see some of that chocolate cake in action.
BUT... I saw it at 12:55 and like 20 mins before the movie ended the whole area's power went down...we all ended up getting re-entry passes but that really sucks cause it's going to be really packed for like the next 2 weeks. So I saw some bad ass stuff but missed the end. (Right were they were planning on getting into that building is where it stopped, after the freeway scene and stuff) Soo...guess I'll get to watch it again. |

That happened to me while watching Ali....and Ali was boring as ****, there was no way I was going to sit through it again to see the last 30 minutes...
But as far as Matrix goes....I can't wait to see it. Who cares about realism? Honestly...it's a ******* movie....did you guys complain that the first one wasn't realistic? I mean, the travel through a phone and stick long probes into the back of thier heads. ****, one guy could even fly...WOW! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png Anyways, it looks ******* cool to me. |
If we wanted realistic, we'd all be watching F&F2. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png I'll be seeing the Matrix this weekend if it's not sold out. I had a chance to see it Tuesday night with about 25 other people (preview for theater employees) but couldn't stay in NY long enough. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif

Okay, where do I start? Well, I loved it, it was still the best movie for me of all time. But, there were a few things that I didn't like. The Morpheus/Zion tlaking/preeching scene was totaly ghey, it sucked when he spoke and they shouldn't have done that. "The Architect" was way to smart for 80% of the movie going audience, the dialogue between Neo and "The Architect" was way to complicated for some of the people I went to see the movie with. The last thing I don't have such a big problem with, but I'm not a huge fan of the whole "flying" thing. LOL
All in all, the movie was amazing and almost everything I expected it to be. I'm totaly satiesfied and it was worth every lick I had to drop to get the tickets. BTW, we all noticed how REALLY FUNNY the movie was? Right? |
Ames, IA.....I used to work at the new Cinemark 12 theatre their when it opened up a few years ago....do they still wear those horrible neon checkered ties and suspenders? Those were the ugliest damn uniforms ever.....that was back in 1999 I think....hopefully they have changed by now.
And it's 2F2F, not F&F2...https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png I hate when people annalyze movies so much, it makes them unenjoyable for everyone....I know all of you have a friend that does that ****. Every movie is like, "no way, that would never happen like that" or "that is so fake, why didn't they make it realistic?" That last one is for all the F&F haters....people watch movies like F&F and attack it for being unrealistic, it's Hollywood people, the land of make believe, but yet those same people think Star Wars was great...like it was more realistic. |
They showed the 2F2F trailler last night, it looked good. I'm serious, it looks like it has a real story line and ****, there were some drugs or cash involved I think.
|
I've only been to that theater once, but I'll check out the uniforms next time. I thought they changed the name from 2F2F, but I guess not....perhaps F&F2 isn't l337 enough. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

I went and saw Matrix last night. Super cool movie.
When we got out, there was a lunar eclipse happening. Coincidence? |
"wait something is different. i can feel them now." BADASS movie. and 2f2f looks like its gonna suck massive monkey nuts. who wants to see a bunch of riced out CGI cars drift around corners and race through a city?? if i wanted that i would play something that actually has entertainment value, like GT3!
|
I just saw, I thought it was great. The croch rocket scene was crazy, I was on the edge on my seat; god I have to get one soon..... Anyhow I liked the 1st one better....
|
i don't know about you guys but i wasn't exactly "calm like a bomb" after seeing it. awesome ****** movie.
and did anybody else catch the last part of the trailer for 2gay2furious where the skyline and another car jump over some bridge that opening up. WTF!!!!!!! i mean there's no doubt i'll see because i love to hate that movie and hate to love it but come on |
I didn't see the 2f2f trailer. I did see something like "the league of extraordinary gentlemen." It had sean connery, and looked really neat-o.
but here's something we noticed: during the conversation with the architect, there was one point where the architect was describing how he went through several versions of the matrix, and how he had to duplicate mankind's grotesqueness or something like that. While he was talking, all the screens portrayed what he was saying. When he was discussing the grotesqueness of mankind, and duplicating our flaws, a picture of GW Bush flashed on like 4 screens...hhhmmm..... |

I saw the movie twice.. once the night before it came out and then the next day.. it was pretty cool.. I agree with Joe Flo that it did look a little fake compared to the first one.. espically when Neo was fighting all those "Smith's" in the park area (when he starts swinging that pole..) anyways.. the end of the movie really pissed me off.."to be concluded.." my ass! ****,., can't wait to watch the next one though..
|
i was really pissed at the ending. Soo abrubt. That i could do without the lame ass sex scene. For fucks sake!!!
|
It was a good movie...a little boring at first, but it picked up. I'd like to see it again soon to catch some of the stuff I missed.

Agreed, Fight scenes were unoriginal. The story line is simply a biblical extension of the first film. Special effects looks fake compared to the first. I saw the movie with a 3rd degree black belt and he thought the moves that neo did were redundant and pointless. Why would he stay and fight when he could simply fly away? And if he could save people from dieing then why were they being so cautious? The directors got way in over their head with this one! The music was good however. All and all it was worth my $7.50 https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Saw it again crunk last night https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png And in the middle of the movie, my buddy kicked over some bottles of honeyweiss, https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif **** was so funny.... Anyhow yea it was good a second time around...... Oh I saw that 2f2f trailer, I won't even comment....
