It doesn't have anything to do with flooding, actually that's pretty rare where we are we just flooded due to the sewer backing up.



Tile is pretty much the only thing that holds up to the sand. Carpet fiber is torn up, wood scratched, etc,etc. you might not see sand, but man you track it all over the house.



Not to mention it's durable, cool in the summer and easy to maintain.



We had tile in all rooms, but two, we like tile so we finished it off.

Yea I even tried taking the pics without the flash, they come out lighter no matter what I do. **** it. the red is so dark they needed a special paint to get the color dark and it comes out like a regular red.
