Pockets work just as well

She goes through them to find a lighter or smokes. Or something else.

We went to eat at a fancy restaurant, and we had been holding hands under the table. I don't remember what the hell I said, but I snuck it out of my pocket it and put it in her hand. She said she knew it was coming that night, but she didn't think I would do it in the restaurant. Our 4 year anniversary was 11 days ago.

Here's something to keep in mind, we got married right by Labor Day, so we'll always have a day off around our anniversary if we feel like going somewhere out of town.

thats pretty cool. you want it to be special, but it doesnt have to be in a diamond space ship orbiting george clooneys house

just get her really drunk and when she passes out, put the ring on her finger. Just tell her the next day that she said yes and you've already called your folks with the good news. It bypasses the "she might say no" problem completely.

Better yet, tell her that you're already married, that bypasses all that storybook wedding garbage.

Be sure to look at the stones under a microscope, makes it a lot easier to see the differences (unless you have a trained eye and all that).
