Yup, i've had magazines being sent to me just because i attended the boat show. They pay for the costs by ads, not subscribers, the more "subscribers" they have the more the advertisers pay. I somehow got on one of the corvette magazines lists.

 

I filled out a grocery survey once that promised free magazines, based on my demographics. They sent me, unwrapped, Penthouse, Oui and Swank.. Many raised eyebrows and dirty looks from the small town mail sorting ladies after that..

 

Wow dude what the hell did you put on the survey.

 

Lol, At the time, I was about 20, single, not in a relationship, attending technical college... Apparently thats a direct linkage to ****..
