Ok if I pick up this merkur it is a turbo and I was wanting to find a BOV for it... so anyone have any sound files of theirs? I have heard some that sound like crap... some that sound fake... also I dont want it really frickin loud.



So let me know what you guys use... what you like... and if you have any sound files email them to me or post them on nopistons!

I have the hks ssqv. you don't want that. really loud, but it's the best sounding BOV on the market

 

define really loud??

I like it to be noticable but not scare the **** out of myself...

though scaring the general public could be nice I guess....

 

it has this high pitched sound, like I had a huge bird trapped under my hood. People allways turn heads when I shift

 

what exactly does a bov do... and do all turbos come with them? or is an add on

do those work with like 6-8lbs of boost and how much are you running?

 

I don't know what the minimum boost req. is. I WAS running 15psi till the botor blew

 

the HKS on a stock 2002 wrx sounds so ******* gay. it not even loud. the more boost the louder it gets right?

 

damn that sux!



wonder if it will work with 6-8... research time I guess....

The apexi blow off sounds pretty nice...
