I've been looking for a welder lately.
It needs to be 120v
Gas shielded
about 1000 Cdn
I would love a 240v Welder, but I don't have 240v sevice in my shed.....
The duty cycles suck now, only 20% wtf is that?

110V welders are OVERLY OPTIMISTIC in their published ratings, 1/4" is POSSIBLE with multiple passes and proper joint prep. IF you are limited to 110V, make sure you are running a DEDICATED circut.

Nope Separate curuit.... Actually I run the lights off an extension cord...

i have a miller cricket xl 115 that works great for thin piping and body work up to single pass 1/8 steel. i rarly use it and have been thinking about sellin it and the tank is new and i paid a preimium for it at praxair.
