you should have gotten 17's 18's just sit and spin and you don't have a very good choice of tires for them that are sticky...

Agreed.



I ended up getting 16x9.5 rims for my FC because there was a good selection of sticky tires for them. Moreso that 17" and forget about 18".



I have toyed w/ ditching my 17" OZ's and going to a 16" rim for the street too.

I agree. Smaller wheels reduce unsprung weight and inertia, and sticky tyres are cheaper too. I'd be fitting 13" wheels if it weren't for 15" superleggeras.

18's fit better. With the tire combo I plan to run, the overall diameter will be within a mm of the stock wheel/tire size. A 275 in back on a 17" rim is too tall, and a 265 isn't wide enough for what I want.
