funny thing, there was a show on last night talking about that same gun. They were saying how some of the "backwoods malitias" we have here in the US have them, and how bad that is. They showed as an example Washington DC. Becouse most of the roads there are long straight paths, someone with moderate to good sniper training could be 4-5 football fields away and still have a clean acuurate shot!

I was watching a demo of ..hell can't think of the name of the company. I want to say Steyr but it may have been SIG, anyways they have a rifle that is accurate up to 2.5 miles out. Has a computer that gives windage information amongst other things.

The guy was shooting a 1 foot target and hitting within .5 inches of his mark.

Same show was showing off blended metal ammo. One second there's a huge pork roast. Next moment there's a fine red mist.

Yay.

Now I'm depressed, I need to get a gun and get back to shooting. Used to be a very very good shot.

Yes but I wouldnt worry about the pres much.

Being that I live closer to DC than anyone on the forum and I am on Captiol Hill about every two or three weeks I have seen the Prez a few times. When he travels around town, there is a large cavelcade of black SUV's. And the last car in the line even has one guy facing out the back dressed in full riot gear and packing a M-16.

The chance of anyone getting a clear shot at the prez is pretty slim.
