Cool

So my gf calls me at work with some kick *** news; her boss told her to get rid of the old moniter because it was water damaged during shipment and the company already got the insurance for it. Well, guess what? Its a 19 inch flat screen!!! WooHoo!!! I took it apart, fixed it..good as new! Nice dell flat panel for the low cost of FREE!

Just though I'd share that...

Wow cool boss. We are on our computers all day at work we all have 18" flat screens. I ended getting one at home too. I got too spoiled at work.

You'll never want to go back to a tube screen ever again.

Jim have you used a good CRT monitor before?

I hate the LCD screens their response time is so slow... you notice it when you are trying to play computer games or watch DVDs. There is like an echo or shadow.

It gets real annoying when u are trying to do animation or CAD simulations.

My next monitor will be a mitsubishi 22 inch tube.

Damn those are nice.

but LCDs do look bling.
