thanks
If anyone was curious about the GTO;
400BB with Edelbrock intake and holley 750 "bling edition"
Ram Air IV replica cam
Accel ignition
Heads ported, polished, three angle valve job, seals hardened for unleaded fuel
3" small tube headers to full 3" dual exhaust
All that going through a muncie 3 speed to a 3.07 open diff. Can you say, "burnout?"
The car also has no power options or AC, and also has 4 wheel DRUM brakes and theres about a half foot of play in the steering.
Yet I still autocrossed it... :redface:

lol
I always did want to go nuts with this car though.
EFI conversion, run it around 600-700hp
6 speed, 4.11 torsen in the rear
B-body spindles to allow for big brakes and a nice suspension drop
tubular a arms, coilovers
quick ratio steering box to ditch the old 10 turn lock to lock beast
toss on some 255/40/17s on some tasteful rims, throw a fresh coat of paint on and be all set.
I really wanted to have a muscle car that could go 200mph at the salt flats and also be able to be a nice road course car. Handling is possible, some domestic mag actually got some POS mid 70s granada to pull 1g on the skidpad without TOO much effort
