long story short....i saw a pack of buzzards on the side of the road...all of them flew into the woods except for this one.

from the car owner:

the animals always find a way to **** up my car. 3 lips down due to possums and a squirrel. detatched bumper due to a deer. now this ****. im just expecting to run over an otter next.

original thread (if you read this, "kulla" is short for Wakulla, a rural town nearby)

its an endangered species, no matter what its illegal, HUGE fine. even if your sleeping and the bird flies into your sleeping body and breaks its neck, you could be fined.

basically i would tell him to watch out posting those pics, for his own wallets sake, i personally could care less.

Buzzards are endangered? I see about 10 everyday patrolling the highway for road kill in the summer, even up here.

Yup. I see bunches of 'em just about every day. Hadn't heard that they're endangered before, but hey, I might have missed that memo.

Here's a list of Florida's endangered species, threatened species, and species of special concern. No sort of buzzard or vulture appears anywhere under the birds section.
