Well within the last week i officially became a MCSE. No big thing really i just like being able to say it :P I also completed my Certifications in Windows 2000 pro/server and XP Professional. I am taking CISCO and my second year of computer programming now, thats what i plan to go to college for. I got rid of burger king and got hired at Gateway's vineland hub as an assistant adminstrator for they're internal store network, and as a pc repair technician when needed (the A+ cert was a joke to get).

I'm looking to get into linux now a little bit, i feel i need to experience the wonder that isn't windows lol. I just wanted to tell someone, my parents don't rlly "get" this kinda stuff but some of the more techish ppl here may enjoy the lil read. I just feel special cuz i'm 18 heh.

I'm done.

Damn man, for 18 that is great! I have always shyed away from most of the certs. I dont want to drop all that money on the MCSE and fail it.. Im pretty confident i have all the knowledge to pass, i just dont have the money to take the chance. I do have my A+ which your right, is a joke, and im almost done with my ATA in computer network administration... which is also a joke.. I hadent learned one thing the whole 1 1/2 years ive been going, yet i've aced all my classes...

A+ consists of knowing what the plugs look like lol. I didn't even study for it. I'm taking Computer Science (C++) as my major in college, with a minor in Game Design, with my CISCO on the side (taking two years at a technical school for that). I want to run my own company, i want something like a Network Security Firm for linux and windows, writing our own software and providing backbone systems for corporation networks, maybe a lil game programming to keep me enjoying it, freeware shizzy. I always had the want to open my garage and see every 7 ever made tweaked to unrealism with my playmate bitch waxing em haha, and since i been working with comps since iw as six it seemed the way to go.

I didn't dump money on my certs because my grandfather is a windows programmer and he payed for it. He gets mad alot cause i ask him why something he takes so much pride in programming is so horrible. But i give it to M$, XP is nice.
