Get a ski pole. Keeps the rope up away from the water while your skier is slaloming, means less jerking on the rope.

Kneeboards are fun, we never got a wakeboard, but they look pretty fun too.

Man I wish I lived closer to home so I could borrow the folks boat!

1981 Chaparral 198 (19'8")

Open bow cruiser

3.8 V6 with 2bbl carb

seats 9 and when new had a top speed of 45

Current engine is hurting so one of these days I'm tempted to install a 4.3 TBI engine out of a blazer into it.

we have a wakeboard but it gets pretty painful behind our boat. 18 foot fiberglass speed boat with a 450hp chevy 350 into a berkley jet drive system.

heres two pics of it sitting. we jus took the dash apart for performance guages, hence the seats being out. tucked under the front is a lovely foot pedal. the motor is covered to keep weather off and out of it.

Why take out the 350? No realistically available rotary will perform as well as that in a boat.

as light as it is, and being that the rotary spins the same direction naturally as the jet drive, i totally beg to differ.

My pops has a 23 foot cobalt with a 454 MAG in it. The thing ******* flys. Top spped of like 65 mph. Like big comfy boat.

I ride a supra ski boat with a 351 cleavlend (sp?). That pulls hard and is pretty fast for a ski boat. Kneeboarding blows lol, wakboarding is the ****. Im going to the lake this weekeend, mabye ill take some pics.

I guess maybe in a jet drive. Obviously I like watersports though so I wouldnt be willing to give up any low end torque. I want to get out of the water ASAP. Although too much is overkill. Plus I've always been a sucker for a wicked sounding V8 in a boat with thru hull exhaust!
