O'Reilly's an arrogant, closed-minded tool, nothing more.
completely agree..

ive seen him chastise guests outside of his show and completely misrepresent their views..

all in an effort to make himself look good.. been caught several times doin so too...

watch closely and see if he gives an opportunity for his guests to give their point of view without hassle..

both closed minded, but do manage to prove good points.
Possibly, but it's much like Michael Moore. Even if what he says has any truth to it, his credibility is ruined by his extremism and even people who might of agreed with him hang their heads in shame that someone like Moore is representing them.

So, even if O'Reilly did have a good point to make, you'd miss it between all of his ridiculous crap and guest-bashing. With him, what he says is not open to debate or discussion, it's a straight up ******* commandment in his eyes. At that point, I start to wonder if the reason he doesn't let his guest get a word in is because he really couldn't back up his view with reason and facts if challenged. If maybe his rhetoric is what it is because it's what rightys are supposed to say. I don't know about that, but there's really no way to know.

Even his book is the same way. "This is what I believe, don't concern yourself with why I believe it, just agree or you're wrong".

I want to gut people like that. Really.

how are people like letterman any better?

he said "i believe that 60% of your show is crap"

o'riley: "when is the last time you have watched the show?"

letterman: "uh...well...ive never seen it before"

that is such bullshit. if you are going to try to bash somebody, you should have some more concrete evidence.

i dont mind o'riley, you just have to decide what you believe based on the best information you can get.

I don't nessesarily think Letterman is any better, but the difference is that Letterman is entertainment. You watch him, and you're either amused or irritated or whatver, but it pretty much ends there. However, many people make important decisions based on what they see on news channels, and when their information is coming from people like O'Reilly or Hannity and Colmes, who are all biased and and seemingly unaware of the concept of differing opinions, and people make political decisions based on that it's just a bad thing. Sure, people that make choices based on what they hear on one TV network aren't the sharpest to begin with, but they are there and I'm sure it does happen. Letterman, whatever you think of him, isn't influencing too many people's political views, so he's relatively harmless.

I have watched O'Reilly's show many times and read his books, and I would say that 60% of his drivel being crap is low-balling it a bit. I'd say 95% of it is totally incomprehensible babble.

OT but related, anyone who watches Fox News Channel know if Dagen McDowell is still on there? I'd hit that anytime.....

The Meat is my longest standing and best friend, we have known eachother for a long time and he actually bought both my first gens lol.

As far as leno or letterman or any talk show for that matter I don't like any of them, i don't really like watching fox news or cnn because they are both amazingly bias to one or the other. I usually get my news from google news and browse several sites to see different takes on issues.

Then I play with my *****.
