why is that?
Because I work at USTRANSCOM. I watch all the networks that support troop/supply movements, flight quereys...you name it. I can tell you how many injured US troops were moved (in deployed areas of operation) in 2002. I know what boats are where, what troops are moving... almost everything. It's cool, but not really that impressive.

I monitor every mission (of course vicariously by monitoring the networks) that does anything worldwide.

I see wha you mean about not all that interesting. Even it you are in these movments you get bored. These guys go somewherein a hurry and then sit around and wait, while trying to find somthing interesting to do. They play a lot of cards. I am sure that gets old fast. I am just not looking forward to seeing any more tropps getting injured of killed. I have a lot of friends and aquaintences(sp) over in Kuwait now.

Last fill up it was a $1.35....Along time ago when I went to pebble beach I saw the gas prices their were $2.00 even. Its just getting out of hand! And I understand about the higher gas prices in other countries....and that is one of the reasons I live here.
