Here's my girl. She's second in from the left. My friend breeds Bullmastiffs but had trouble selling the brindle females, most people want males in either red or fawn so selling the females was hard. He asked if I wanted her and i couldn't refuse.

Here is my pup.... Purebred Jack Russel Terrier 3 Months... Properly named for the wifey's favorite brand...GUCCI! $600.00

Here she is playing with the other pups... 2 female Purebred Short hair tea-cup Dachsaunds... Named Gator and Sammy, Gator because it walks around showing off its teeth all the time, and Sammy because one of the dogs had to carry on the family tradition of the dog name.$1200.00 (each)

And one more of the Jack Russel Terrier being camera friendly...

And not to add to the fire...but i also would never buy from a pound, after having a friend that had to do community service gave me the run down on how it works there. Yes they need a good home quick or they get put down... but they are not treated the best while their there either. And yes i would love ot rescue them, your getting yourself into a whole lot more than anyone can expect. Where-as a puppy anything, mixed or purebred, has less a chance of developing certain issue, because it only reflects on yout he owner and not everyone else that has affected it in its life.

my parents have always had pound puppies and never had a problem.... obviously you can have problems. i guess we are just lucky
We tried that twice. Both times we had problems with it biting us which was really sad because they were extremely sweet dogs. We ended up buying a purebreed though and lovin it.

my dog bit me when we first got it. i beat the crap out of it. then it never bit me again.... i guess that is obedience training... i was not brutal to it at all but my dog is pretty crazy. it had to be taught it is not allowed to bite people. i am pretty sure the people that had my dog before me were scared of it. honestly she is amazing now. i can pick her up and she is about 90lbs.... she can fall asleep in my arms..... she is very obedient and occasionally does something wrong but hey its a dog
