Here is mine that I just picked up begining of last month.......

He is a Pure bread American Bulldog his name is Rex he ran $800.I am looking to buy a female pup so she can have some pups with him you guys would be able to get a NP discount off me for $500.They are very freindly and loyal to people and they have a dont **** with me attitude.

R.I.P Bully

That's a cute pup, but I tell you what...I'd have to be pretty damn stupid to shell out $800 for some "purebred" dog when you can get a great dog (that really needs a home)at an animal shelter for $100 or less. There are already so many dogs out there and you're gonna make more? That's a shitty decision, but look who we're talking about.

i'm going to stick up for 4rotor here. Dogs that come from a good breed have been proven to have better personalities, and be less likely for terminal or disabiliting illnesses (well...some stuff runs in the breed such as bad hips for labs, ect.) The dogs i have seen that come from a shelter tear **** up, get sick and die, ect. I'm not saying that there are some good dogs there, but 800 bucks is a good thing to spend to know the dog will not flip out and bite your children.

any purebred animal is about 100x more likely to die from a gene mutation due to it being purebred then any non-purebred animal. So i'm guessing you made up the whole "it's been proven" thing.

thats why humans generally stray from incest, it cause mutations and eventual death.

I'm glad you like your dog and I hope you take good care of him. Your wanting to breed him so the breed doesn't die out is admirable, but I don't buy it. You plainly stated you want to sell them to NP member at a discount for $500. You just want to create another puppy mill so you can make some money.

also they're not THAT rare, they are considered rare but that doesnt mean there are like 10 left.

if you really want to breed them, properly not just let her get pregnant and dump out babies proper breeding takes experience and skill, then go here http://puppydogweb.com/caninebreeds/ads/am...icanbulldog.htm and buy the other gender.

actaully kevin, my mother was looking into dog breeding, so we did alot of research on the topic. Im not trying to start a war or anything here. Yes, there are diseases that can run through the breeds from over breeding. I agree with you. But i would rather take a dog where I know where it was bread then a street dog. My family has not had good experences with pound puppies, thats all.
