I am very impressed with this quote:
"When I campaigned for governor, I promised the people of California that I would do everything I can to protect our coastline," Governor Schwarzenegger said in a conference call with reporters last week. "There will be no offshore oil drilling in our state, and I will fight against it."
Although bills in Congress do not address the Pacific Coast, he said, "They could lead to the weakening of the moratorium that has protected the California coast for 25 years."
It's time people woke up and started to concentrate their efforts on ways to cut demand, not increase production.

Good point. I need to draft a letter admonishing him for his choice of personal conveyance and inform him of the virtues of the Volkwagen Jetta TDI.

That's like saying he will fight against the fact that there is no offshore oil drilling in his state. He actually wants offshore oil drilling.

actually arnold is a funny case study, he got elected, and started doing the things california needs (reducing spending, cutting some of the programs which make no sense etc) and people didnt like him. now he's just kinda said f-it and turned everything back on, and now he's cool again.
