Looks like from the official Lego site and use of the word LEGO, I am correct in pronounciation. To show direct plural, they say LEGO bricks.
I will humbly stand corrected though if you can prove otherwise.

that doesnt prove the plural form of lego, which is actually legos not your odd sheep simile.
