not really just make sure you don't fill up the c drive. most dumasses do that and wonder why the machine is slow

oh ****, so that's why? LOL JK, but I'm out of space on both drives. I serisously need more space. Would you (Mr. CompUSA) recomend that 80GIG USB HDD?

Hey Srce, you hooker.. get your own thread.. hahahaha.. just kidding.. I had thought about getting a big 200 GB External Hard drive and using that **** for all my music and junk at home.. and just leavin the laptop with the things I need on the go.. and if I ever get another desktop I will be able to share with that one too..

DO IT bro, I'm happy I did. I paed $210 for my 120 GIG and I'm happy I did it. I was lucky as hell for not loosing all this info I have, might not be so lucky next time, so I put everything I had on the USB external.

the usb drives arent the best things in the world for performance but really great if you just need the storage and don't plan on running games off it or anything, I would use it for mp3 / movie archiving though, should be fine for that. And quite portable too.
