One of the places we took the kids on vacation this year was an old time amusement park in the wilderness of Pennsylvania. I wasn't expecting to be impressed, but I was. This was a great experience--reasonable cost, no parking or admission fees, great food, very competent and caring staff, reasonable crowds with no long waits for rides. Everyone had a blast, even Grandpa and Grandma! Truly a family-friendly park.
