So yea I was pretty happy when I was able to get it unclogged without having to call roto rooter. Started with a snake, but couldn't get it to bust loose, ended up buying this deal you put on a hose and blast it out of the pipe, worked well and was only $9.

it was one of those things that i avoided buying the first 3 trips to home depot as i figured it was junk
