You nailed it. Its funny too my wife signed him up for jujitsu (SP?) and he loved it... right up to the part where you have to spar. He didn't like hitting the other kids. He would actually take a beating instead of hitting them back.

Then this little brat sparred w/ him and clocked him good. His sense (SP?) Pulled him aside and had a talk w/ little help.

I talked to him at home that night and explained it was cool to hit these kids thats what its all about.

I also pointed out the brats weaknesses and how he opens himself up for a beating when he goes on the offensive.

He beat the **** out of this kid at the next sparring session. The kids parents were upset.

I decided a couple weeks later when the other parents were cheering for thier kids to kick other kids asses. Then getting to know some of the parents and realizing they were dorks and were living vicariously through their kids. Decided to pull him out of it. Actually he wanted out he didn't like it.

Some kid that was older than him started some crap with him on his way home from school. He made 2 fists and just looked at the kid and the kid took a hike. He stands up for himself and his friends well.

I was just looking at him sleeping and he is a pretty solid little ****.

I have been wanting to get a bowflex or something and start getting him exercising. He is a little plump for his age.

Ahhhh the X-Box generation.
