this kid in my class constantly says that he'll beat my "peice of **** rx7". he has a 2002 5.9 liter dodge ram pickup. how would i compare to him. if my car were running ofcourse. full exhaust done, intake, soon pineapple sleeves,with 93 octane

Hey, If you have a NA, dont run 93 octane. Best performance is on 87 or lower.

 

 

the 5.9....isnt that the V10 or V-8? They are quick dont be fooled

 

The 5.9 is a Magnum V8, if it were a 03-04 HEMI though, he'd smoke you. Sorry!!!

 

5.9 is also the displacement of a CTD, cummins Turbo-diesel

 

Wich I'd be more afraid of than the Hemi.

 

i stated that IF it was running. i'm pretty sure its the magnum v8 that he's talking about. we're u serious when u said that its better to run 87 than 93. i thought the higher the octane the better. wouldnt it burn off stronger. he also stated that he can take me in twisties with an escalade dont know if he's serious about that one though. you said that if it were the hemi he'd beat me but how about the 5.9 magnum. or i can just set up an encounter with my cuzzins tII. haha

 

You should take him. My friend smoked a full size dodge with his GXL the one night. The guy was looking down at him laughing at his car asking if he wanted to race. As soon as the light turned green they both stepped on it after second gear he was atleast a car length on the guy.
