I just purchased a 1981 first gen. after many years of wanting anything rotary (played with too many V-8's). Anyways, i since i live about 30 minutes from KD, i was wondering if anyone had any good bad experiences with them. Thanks

I'm about 20 minutes from them. I've only heard of one guy who had problems with their tuning but as far as work goes, everyone seems very happy with their engine building, mods, everything else.

I'm not happy with them, but I think my problem was an isolated incident, and I would still recommend going to them. Dave always stands by his work.

KDR has a very good reputation. I talk to Dave for a quick minute one time, and it was a pleasure.

i've called KD a couple of times, and Dave is always more than happy to answer all of my questions and actually cares about helping, even though he's never done any work to my car.

Back in the day when I had to rebuild my motor I called several shops including KDR. I talked to Dave and he answered all my stupid newbie questions very nicely. I have heard nothing but good things about him.

Only heard that he pops motors on the dyno due to lack of tunning skills.
