I'm not 100% sure about this, but doesn't the word nigger come from negro which is a term for black people? There's plenty of names to call people which aren't controvercial, why not just call him a ******* idiot and keep everyone happy?

The definition of nigger is someone who is ignorant.

Just did a search, and they have actually changed the definition to nigger, meaning a racist remark toward black people, which only a black person can call another black person. At one time however the definition was someone who was ignorant. And I can even recall a time when I was about 13 years old on the bus to school (on a black route with a black bus driver), and some kid called a black kid a nigger. Well the bus driver even said the word meant ignorance and anyone could be a nigger....so thats good enough for me damn it.

I did the search and came up with that as well. Never heard of it meaning ignorant though, maybe just for you guys.
