Yep sounds about right then. Its just when you are turning slow, the way it compensates wheel rotation is going to give you that effect. Its great for racing but a pain on the street.

I was getting ready to order the Kaaz unit and Rocky at RX-7.com talked me out of it. He said they run a tII rear in their FD too. It is bulletproof. I decided to rebuild mine for good measure. Nice and quiet. I had a bad thrust bearing so we tore it down and rebuilt the entire unit. Mazdaspeed discount saved me a lot of money.

I hear the Kaaz is an awesome unit. You'll like it if you race a lot.

the kaaz is VERY strong but a T2 is just as strong. kaaz told me their clutch pack is huuuuuge but in reality it can't be any bigger than a stock T2 unit.... you can thank boostn7 for this wise piece of info. he is the MAN!

The clunking is the locking and unlocking of the differential. Most lockers do it. Completely normal.
