Just Watched We Were Soldiers

If nothing else Blackhawk down showed one thing that was forgotten. Its very difficult for the soldier(grunt) on the ground to win, when the fight is being run by a draft dodging president thousands of miles away who's more interested in getting a BJ than saving the fighting men of this country.
Sorry to rant, but good people died because of that jerk!

Read my post one more time.(Slowly if need be.) I'm talking Africa and chairman Clinton, and your talking Southeast Asia and LBJ. While the "nam was a big mistake in which just one small flat glassy(nuke) area in the north would have saved thousands of American lives, at least LBJ isn't know worldwide for getting a BJ in the white house. Although he is known for picking dogs up by their ears and for pissing on the white house lawn.(I don't much like LBJ also.)
By the way, I know Southeast Asia fairly well, as I've been going there for over twenty years and my wife is from the area(her father was a paratrooper for the lao army and her uncle used to be a forward observer calling in B-52 strikes during "Nam. He had to leave the country after the war(or he would have been killed!),and spent a lot of time in a refugee camp before come here.)

By the way, If you want to see a really good(older), 'Nam movie, go rent "Assault on Firebase Gloria." The Sergeant in the movie was a real DI. His name is Sergeant Ermy(Full Metal Jacket), and he now does "Mail Call" on the history channel.
