Hrm, there must be another one. I see this black FD driving around town now and then but i think i've seen it like 3 times total? But i've seen it before you moved here. Anyways its nice to see another rotary powered car join the Tulsa area.

 

Yeah a guy in town that owns a red 3rd gen was going to buy mine, I think he mentioned there being a black FD for sale in Tulsa.

 

Most of the FD's here though are in crappy condition. My friend was lookin at em a while back before he got his 68 SS Camaro.

Thanks for the links. I was looking at them and I think I am going to let the dealer install thier kit. It includes the ported head ($1,895 per mimimania) the full exhaust and BMW doesn't just change the pulley they change the whole supercharger. The stage II jit w/ 215 HP from Minimania is $2500. Add that to the head and they are in the same ballpark as BMW. Plus w/ BMW I get to keep my warranty. The only hitch so far is that the dealer is trying to charge $7K for it. Its MSRP is $4,500.



I ordered a red CooperS with a white roof. I got it with the sport pachage and on board trip computer. Everything else is standard.



I think the out the door price was $22K. Not shabby at all. I am going to try to work on the sales man to come down on the Works kit. I think the car will be pretty fast with it.

 

Sounds pretty good Jim, especially if you are in the same price range and get a warranty on the deal. Its gona haul butt with 215hp.
