Whoot! What a good feeling to fly without anyone else in the plane with me. My instructor and I went up and I did 3 takeoffs and landing with him in there, then he got out and I went up and did another 3 takeoffs and landings without him. All the landings went pretty smooth. Not much wind correction needed and there wasn't a ton of other traffic to worry about either since there was low visibility. Heres a pic of a pic of the plane I did it in.

When I used to be a lineman every student that solo'd got his shirt tail ripped. How bad depended on who you were. A 50's businessman would get a tear a 20's to 30's cool giy would end up getting his shirt ripped in half! LOL!

I know you have a ways to go but it would be cool for you to fly into the Stuart Florida Airport and meet up for lunch.

If I can ever afford it, i'll do what my instructor does now, which is rent a twin engine plane that has plenty of speed to visit his family and friends around the country. It also helps him build up multi time. Cost $1600 for 10 hours though, but he splits it with another instructor.

i was good friends with a couple instructors a while back. i used fly with them all over.. really just for something to do. i have tons of hours in a single/ twin/ twinturboprop/ and jet engine.... not bad for only having a student license.
