I feel your pain my friend, although I was not lucky enough to get knocked out, I went through 10 vials of novacaine, I had 9 molars pulled last tuesday, I have been on Demerol and Motrin since. They are prepping me for dentures, and let me tell you the military dentists are like going to your friends that have piston engines and telling them to work on your rotary. They have an idea of what they are supposed to do, but they are still learning, so they might say whoops a few times...
My whoops was not getting knocked out, the dentist was a Capt. and not trained on anestesia, so I was supposed to get laughing gas and just ride it on out, well after the first 3 vials of novacaine he picks up the pliers...The alarms go off and I ask what the hell, I was supposed to get gas!!! He looks at me...looks at my chart, looks at the big bottle in the corner and says "Well its a little late now, by the time the gas would take effect I'll be done" So I shrug my shoulders and sit back, figuring this should take no more than about 30-45 mins...2 hrs later with a mouth full of gause, and my lips feeling like they are bouncing off my toes I walk out.

AND I'M HIGH AS ****!!! got my wisdom teeth out, no biggie. they could find a vein in my arm for like 10 min. while i was sittin there on the gas..ohhhwee that **** is a whole nother world...my mouth is swollen as **** but it don't matter cuz i got some pain pills. God i was sooo embarrased, i think i was hitting on this nurse that was sooo fine but i can't remember,,haha...But i really just wanna work on my car...
