Staten island is mob run too, like the Department of sanitation and all those construction companys. NYC is sadly unique

exactly, hence we got our white asses out of that **** island, literally, plus that dump HOLY ****, no wonder babies are born ther with 5 eyes and no nose...

werd, i dunno but i can live in places that are calm and quiet. Im dominican and we are loud people, i like noise and action. I lived in East nEW york in Brooklyn, and in queens and my famz lives out in LI but its too quiet for me. My brother even comes from LI to queens just to hang out cuz its dead out there for him...
People taht grew up in that are use to it but we like the urban atmosphere, and sadly enuff u also have to get used to the pitfallz of urban living.

my dad was a cop down in district in manhattan, still preffer it up here than down there, but it is real calm... its kinda peaceful, hear gun shots, but thats aimed at tonights dinner

yeah i still live in queens. The part im at was good when we moved here from Brooklyn. Escaped brooklyn causeof all the shootings and ****. Saw people killed like every other day where i lived. It was across the street from a park so people were always hustling round here, and we lived close to a train station so that leads to more crime. But queens is also getting bad. But i need to be in queens cause its closer for me to go to school in the city (manhattan). going to the city from long island takes about 2 -3 hours driving, with all that traffick, and in trains takes almost as long (2 hours) so **** it, im only 25 minutes from skoool, and i liek the area, i kmnow how to survive in it. To me itz normal, living in quiet town in LI or upstate Not normal.
Wheni get married and get kids then ill move to a nice area, but not to far out in the woods. SOmething like valley stream LI, close to all highways and its close to the city =) but to move to Orange county up in the woods or albany, nah!

well also do note, when ure younger u hang out late, skip curfew, go to parts that are not good to be in at night , and sometimes its a bit over ure league some make it others get cuaght up and get hurt so , but it hard to explain to someone who doesnt live here, iim used to this, i know how it werks, gotten involved cuase i chose to and some i didnt but thats what u gotta do. Every new yorker knows this is some form, may it be in the streets or the corporate world. Most of those big guys get up there by destroying everyone in there way, same **** in the streets. So its a pretty good comparison, the rest of the U.S is not like NYC but that hard to see when ure not here. lol
New y orkers are rude, mean, and dont give a **** and thats why some tourist dont even come to NYC cuse they like **** that place lol
