The interiors of the Lighting (most Fords for that matter) is not the greatest and I have never refuted that. My point was, as stated above, he was making reference to the fact that it was falling apart and things didn’t align right and that was obviously the fault of the company that did the conversion. The only video I could find just for the hell of it...Judge shot it.Just another American POS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRsj_FZB7Bc https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.gif |

My inside is awsome and no issues yet...and it has seen the track plenty and tailgate parties! The only video I could find just for the hell of it...Judge shot it.Just another American POS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRsj_FZB7Bc https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.gif Don't get me wrong. I owned an 02 Lighting and never had any issues. The material is not the best but the fit and finish was great and I never had any rattles. Even after a built motor and Kenne Bell and many 1/4 mile runs with over 700 ft lbs of torque I never heard so much as a squeek. When I say they are not the greatest, I mean they do not compare to a BMW's interior in terms of the products used. |

So I will hijack one last time! Badass...that aint stock. KB/SCT/Deka 60's,shift kit?.You got a rear end too? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683827.gif Thanks man. No, the rear end on the Lightnings can take a lot of punishment and mine was stock. Even with slicks at the track and running low 1.6 60 foot times I never had any problems. I did twist the driveshaft in half though. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blush.gif |
