This is Jason from the Rx7club. I would like to explain the reasons behind Loi's banning since he isnt telling you the whole story.
The past couple of months Loi has been using the Parts for sale section to sell parts off his website. Most people know the rules and I know Loi does also. It came to a point where I banned him for a week. A third party IM'd me asking why he was banned and for how long. I explained the reasons why and told them he was banned for a week. Well 2 days later he is registered under a different name and selling parts in the For Sale section again. I noticed this yesterday and banned his IP from viewing the forum. I also sent him an email letting him know why he was banned and to stay off the forum. He responded and told me he was selling some personal parts, like the K2RD fuel rail and injectors, but it was not to hard to figureout by his post that he was selling multiple items. Plus he tells me in an email yesterday that he gets the rails from K2RD along with bashing my business and letting me know he is going to undercut pricing. Those were the reasons for his banning.
Some of you are going to ask why I dont let vendors sell items on the forum. I dont care if vendors sell items on the forum just as long as they ask me first or want to pay for advertising. As some of you think the forum costs nothing to run, it costs about $1000 a month out of my pocket to run that site. Thats more than most pay in rent or mortgage. I dont know of any large forums that allow everyone to advertise for free. The reason you dont see that many vendors posting or their posts getting deleted is they dont want to pay to advertise.
Thats why Jason from JT-Imports is over here. I give him 2 weeks of his own subforum over there for free and after that he said he would start paying to advertise. After 2 weeks he tells me he doesnt want to pay. That is fine with me, I dont have a problem with that, but he starts to do the samething Loi was doing. Using every post on the forum to sell product.
I have no problem with nopistons. I wanted to explain the reasons behind Lois banning. Im sure most dont care, but for those who do those are the reasons.
