I'm going on 5 months without my FD and I must say I feel sorta lonely and depressed without it. I really miss not being able to hop in and zip around town with the windows down. I've seen a couple here and there and i'm still very in love with the car. I keep thinking of all the good times I had in my FD the 3 years I owned it and it makes me sad to not be able to walk outside and sit in the thing. Browsing for sale ads on the internet has confirmed that I am still obsessed and must get another. I can't wait till that sweet day, it won't come soon enough.

I'll let you drive my FC. Maybe that'll make you feel better.

seriously, pick up a nice s5 t2 ... dont even need to put lots of money into them to be fun. Sure the chicks might not dig the sharp styling as much as the smooth, but you have a nice platform to work with, theyre really fun and .. well theyre really fun.

I had toyed with selling my FC and my Mini and getting something really crazy. Elise or Viper?

I just cannot part w/ my FC I love it too much.

I cannot imagine not having a rotary car anymore.

Yeah I never planned on selling the FD. But after quiting my job, moving to Ok, and going to school full time, I couldn't afford for anything to break or even the car insurance for that matter out here. It was not a good feeling to finally say to myself...ok you really have to sell your car. Plus the money I had left over after buying the rustang and other mini went toward the move expenses, some credit cards, school tuition, and this house, cause I wasn't liking the idea of being in an apartment for several more years. Good news however, now that i'm getting more settled down and I have some stocks doing well, I could realistically get another. Couldn't go all out and do modifications like I did before, but i'd be very satisfied with a stock Fd. I was looking for an FC while in the process of selling the FD, but I never found one that was in my budget that I liked. I like FC's, mainly the ones like Jim's that are all built up. I couldn't just get and FC and be satisfied though, it has to be an FD.

Jim- don't be talking all crazy like that.
