Actually, Saddam has lots of supporters among the Sunnis. Its the Shiites that want his head. If the whole country was in agreement about Saddam, they probably wouldn't be in the mess that they are in today.

The fucked up thing is they are giving him an appeal. **** that he should have been hanged right after sentencing, and had it broadcast all over the world.
