this topic got totally hijacked. the rx8 will probably be ok in regards to its fuel economy, but it doesnt have the greatest in its class. according to car and driver we get 18 in town, 23 on the highway, and in a 500 mile trip they averaged 15. Thats only 3mpg better than the svt cobra with its 390hp.
